How to Change Your Default Mail Client in Windows XP

To change your default mail client in Windows XP please follow these steps:

 

1. Go to the Control Panel by opening your Start menu and clicking on the ‘Control Panel’ option.

2. From your Control Panel, select the 'Add or Remove Programs' option.

3. Select 'Set program access and defaults' in the sidebar.

4. Check the radio button next to 'Custom,' and click the expand button directly to the right of the 'Custom' option.

5. Select your preferred email program and click ‘OK’.

 

You have now set up your default email client.
